Blackberry Playbook Delayed

The new Blackberry Playbook has been delayed until mid-april.

The Playbook was going to be released in a few days in america, but apple have bought most of the Touch screens. The delay could also be because of the japan earthquake but it hasn't affected Apple. The screens could also not be the problem as the software may still have not been tested. And if the software isn't ready the Playbook will release without e-mails, calender or any contact apps. Motorola Xoom not going to well?

Yesterday, Deutsche Bank reported that the Motorola Xoom was not shifting anywhere near enough units to compete with the iPad. The figures had come from the Android market share which lists what amount of its OS is installed, and the OS 3.0 Honeycomb with is only available on the Xoom so far is only 0.2% of the market share with they predict is 100,000 units. Acer Iconia Tab A100

The Brand New Acer Iconia which we told you about back in the beginning of march is now available for Pre-Order on Amazon. It follows the Samsung Galaxy Tab as it's competitor. It goes for £300 for the Wi-Fi Version. The A100 is a smaller version of the A500 with they showed at the Mobile World Congress in February and to my knowledge many many people broke the case around it, CNET even breaking it by simply pulling the headphones out. Hopefully this model and the A500 will have no problems....

Acer tablets

Acer announced that they would release 3 new tablet pc and a dual screen laptop.

First off is that 2 of the 3 tablets will run android OS 3.0 and the other Windows Phone 7. Screen sizes will be available in 10.1″ and 7″. The windows one will have a next generation AMD processor and graphics. They all feature a 10-point Multi-Touch Screen. All of these tablets are thought to be released in april 2011.
