Internet Explorer 10
Microsoft has Revealed the first IE10 Platform Preview. First off is the biggest change to normal in the home users - ONLY Windows 7 is supported - Right, now i've got that out of the way you can't go around saying it doesn't work. Now for the developers point of view, It is now featuring an improved HTML5 (i don't know how it's improved) and the new CSS3. This news does come surprisingly quick though as the complete version of IE9 was only released on the 14th march 2010. This one though was released 28 days after. Developers can use this platfrom Preview and future ones to get used to the new features before it is offically released. this means that they can get they're things ready for this. Now as Developers know is that this is not anything like a beta and nothing like a complete version.
First off it looks like this:

Now obviously i'm not one to judge but it is quite clearly not like the IE your probably using now, the most noticable thing is the address bar.

Well that's that for now, i will post more about this subject soon.

Yesterday i reported that apple revealed they would sell the White iPhone 4 today, well i can now also report it's exactly the same for the UK. I can also reveal that sadly there are now new things available in this new iPhone other than the hardware problems which have been fixed.

So now that there is this widely wanted iPhone, Just weeks after apple reveal record breaking profits so will buy this new one? Well first we believe that according to apple's e-mail about WWDC 2011 explaining that a new iOS (iOS 5.0) - and as anyone can see apple have always released a new os with a brand new iPhone - so if history doesn't fail the us there will be a new one. Not to mention that if you do buy this white version it will only be the "hot item of the year" of more or less 3 months.

So with all this will you buy one? Please comment about your views on this below.

White iPhone 4? Why so long?

Today, apple announced on their US site that they will release the White iPhone tomorrow in America. There is still no news about any release in the U.K though. This new white version is speculated to fix all the bugs that were in the Black one. These bugs include disputably antenna problem. This was caused by the joints between the 3 antennae being to wide that when you held it in such a way which these are covered. This was causing a lot of dispute so apple promised that they will fix it in the new white version. They has taken a very long time though, seeing that the black model was released in July 2010. Thats a full 9 months!

Anyways thats it for now check back later for news and see if they've done anything new the the white version that they haven't told us about.
Pirelli's 'marbles'

Today Pirelli have announced that they will attempt to make the 'marbles' on the track reduced or at least smaller than they are currently after the drivers reported that the marbles were starting to make overtaking quite hard because of the marbles being scattered all across the track. Pirelli though have been tasking with creating tires that will bring back racing to the racers. This has been done by making the tires degrade quicker but because of this the the marbles have been coming off nearly twice the size than that of bridgestone's and they've been coming off quick. The marbles are not new to the sport though, as the marbles are the main part of tire degradation which do then make the pit stops.

More as we get it and don't forget that the China Grand Prix Practice 1 & 2 is tomorrow from 3:00 am GMT + 0
iPad 3 could have AMOLED screen

DigiTimes have said that component suppliers had responded to the rumors that the iPad 3 could have a AMOLED or a Full HD screen. The fact is though that samsung are the biggest supplier of AMOLED Screens and if apple put it into their iPad they could end up with shortages. The 2011 release of the iPad 3 is next to nothing though so its good news for those of you that have just splashed out of a new iPad 2. Digitimes put it as that Apple could either choose an AMOLED screens or a Full HD Screen like the one iPhone. But during all this it is still very clear that the iPad 3 won't be released until at least February next year.

The future, today

Volkswagen have announced that they are going to build the Prototype XL1 which catch many many eyes by

Futuristic styling

47 BHP

Equivalent of a 1.6 Litre Golf TDI Engine

800CC

LIMITED to 99MPH

Now that's interesting on that it only has 47 BHP yet it even limited to 99MPH. how can that little engine go over 100MPH? On the wight side it weighs roughly the same as the Mark 1 VW Golf GTI. The battery it hold (yes sadly it is a hybrid) is a Sanyo lithium-ion battery which is rated at about 5 kWh. The electric motor gives out 27 BHP. To give you an idea of what 5 kWh is it can drive the car on volts alone for 22 non-stop miles at any speed under 62MPH. Of course the main reason this car can manage that amazing 313 MPG is a lot of power and weight saving. This is done by lightweight wiring electrical AC and electric fuses. This car is though still a £2 million prototype and there are many new electric saving things coming soon including almost no power LED lights all around.

The design of the car is made to look just like a Volkswagen and it is mostly achieved by the front although not looking familiar it looks a lot like the future of Volkswagen and strangely familiar to Volkswagen. The inside of the car is very comfortable and is rather nice giving the feeling that it's not computers controlling everything but very much you. The biggest weight-saving idea though is it's Carbon Fibre reinforced Polymer. The engine is made fully of aluminum. Another weird part is that the side mirrors are TV cameras that you can watch in the centre console.

Blackberry Playbook Delayed

The new Blackberry Playbook has been delayed until mid-april.

The Playbook was going to be released in a few days in america, but apple have bought most of the Touch screens. The delay could also be because of the japan earthquake but it hasn't affected Apple. The screens could also not be the problem as the software may still have not been tested. And if the software isn't ready the Playbook will release without e-mails, calender or any contact apps. This could mean big problems for the release and could be as popular as broccoli.
The release dates are as follows:

US:19th April

UK sometime in June

Today Android announced that the new Gingerbread Android OS which we thought was going to be 2.4 is actually 2.3.2. It seems that the Mobile manufacturers, when they announced their new mobiles at the Mobile Congress said that their phones will have the new Android version which they and us presumed was 2.4.
Google have also announced that the next Android OS (hopefully 2.4) will be called ice cream sandwich

Samsung Galaxy S Update

The new Android OS 2.3 is set to go to the first device it will be available at about the mid-april. The new OS is an update to the OS 2.2 which is available on devices like the HTC WildFire and the HTC Desire, and also the only tablet to have it, the Samsung Galaxy Tab. This will now mean that the Tablet and the Smartphone OS's will now be different unlike Apple's iOS. The OS is set to be officially called: Google Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread while the new Tablet OS currently only available in the Motorola Xoom is officially called the Google Android OS 3.0 Honeycomb. Weird name's these eh?

Anyway, new updates as we get them and don't forget to check out our F1 live blogs for Practice 3, Qualifying and the Race.
